Overall, we were very disappointed with the hotel. Yes, the price may be reasonable, but that doesn’t justify offering g. Hello! I would like to share my feedback regarding our stay at the hotel.
Let me start with the positives — the reception staff. They were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. I also liked the location of the hotel: the metro is a 10-minute walk away, the waterfront and tourist center are within 15–20 minutes on foot, and there’s a beautiful park nearby.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.. There were many downsides to our stay, which I’ll describe in detail and attach some photos.
* The rooms are in desperate need of renovation: plumbing doesn’t work properly, the furniture is old and worn out, the bathroom feels unpleasant, and the sink looks like it’s about to crack and fall apart.
* The food was poor and some products were not fresh: every day we were served bitter, wilted arugula, stale bread, and very basic options. I don’t expect exotic fruits or fancy meals, but at least the basics should be fresh. The only “hot” items were boiled eggs and sausages, which were cold most of the time.
* Cleanliness: or rather, the lack of it. The rooms and dining area were dirty. We deliberately didn’t mention it right away to see if it would be cleaned the next day — it wasn’t. They simply don’t bother. In the kitchen, there was a painting hanging near the food area that hadn’t been dusted in what seems like a year. The dishes were also dirty — cups with stains, chipped plates — which really spoiled the experience.
* Our window faced ongoing construction work, which we weren’t informed about, so we had to deal with constant noise, dust, and debris. On top of that, the water was shut off temporarily — again, without any warning. We only found out after going downstairs to ask.
* Very poor internet: if you’re planning to work remotely, this is not the place for you. The connection is unstable and unreliable — the Wi-Fi works on and off.
* The air conditioning: only works at 16°C. After a couple of minutes, the room becomes freezing. If you turn it off — it’s too hot. There’s no way to increase the temperature, so you either freeze or sweat..
